two rounds to make it right

an arc
rising above the city
that raised you up

the eye of London
watching over the land

the turning
breaks time reversal

coming down again
in a capsule

performing particle exchange
going away
going back

the heavy feeling
centred in the stomach
bloated with ideas and dreams

staring down into the sink
knowing it’s coming
half dreading, half wanting,
and always waiting
